HAPPY NAME-DAY !!

It's so late because I wanted to do another work... Traditional Art, but it was so hard and I decided to do different, digital art work.

And Here You are:
Angel Gabriel from "Ultima" (=kourinthellama's book). Model: John Rzeznik from The Goo Goo Dolls (~The-Goos-Fanclub)

I wanted to do wings quite seethrough and a with a little "bad" lightening (Like from a different fairy tale). Why? His wings are only metaphor, he's angel and human in one person. That's why wings don't fit. He's so strong and powerfull but also weak and lost.

I really love it!

A few minutes passed on silent looking at the tall buildings around the Square, at the leaden sky, noticing the trams, the buses, the cars, the people. Awakening more vividly with every second that passed, the city around us began to stretch and yawn, people filing out of the buses and trams. I closed my eyes, concentrating on hearing their voices, their humming, silent song of the city. Every sound, every move was now sacred, in the wet, blurry embrace of the rain. I turned around, stretching out my arms, opening my palms, feeling every beat of the city’s pulse, reaching out for it, accepting it, wanting to understand it, be a part of it, come straight into it’s arms and be covered by it’s kisses.

“Yes,” I whispered, feeling the wind swirl around me and I slowly turned around and around. “Take me in, hold me, tired as you are with your long, constant life. Let me be part of your ritual,” the rain started falling harder on my upward-turned face. “I’ll help you, dear city, as I can best. Trust me,” I stopped turning around, feeling the rain beat down harder with every second, and stood motionlessly, feeling my fingertips go numb as the drops of rain kissed my body.
